Like I have mentioned above, you may want to know your own mobile phone number in certain cases. When you have actually taken a new sim card,it may be hell of a task to remember your new number. Also given the fact that there is number availability shortage in the country, the mobile companies have already started providing numbers starting from the digits 8 or 7 instead of the normal number 9.So ,to remember what exactly your number is can be a tedious task.

Easy Procedure To Know your Mobile Number

The easiest way to find out your own number is to take your mobile phone and dial your friends number or any other mobile phone in your hand or somewhere nearby. But , you cannot be lucky all the time. You may not be able to find an extra mobile phone at your disposal all the time. Also, asking a girl her number who is standing beside you, does not look like a good idea if you want to find out your own cell number using cell phone. The repercussions , sometimes may be terrible.

So, what else can you do in such cases.?Before I tell you the codes that you need to dial to find out your own number, lest me tell you an easiest way to know your number.

  • Add your number in your contact list and name it as A or whatever you want. So, in case you happen to forget your number , you can always open your contact list ,search for the name and get to know your own number. Also, If you save it as "A", there are chances that dialing the first contact name by mistake is greatly reduced. This is one of the most common issues these days, that the first person in your contact list gets a call from you by mistake from your touch screen phone or an ordinary smart phone.
  • But the above method is useful only if you have already saved your number in your contact list. Most of the time, this is not the case.

But , there is nothing to worry.I am going to give you a few codes that you will have to dial in order to get back your own phone number.
